Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that requirements change. Because optical lenses are cut specifically to your individual prescription and frame rim shape, certain rules apply to orders already in progress.

Section · 01

Cancellation window

Notify us by phone or email at least 24 hours before your slot to cancel without cost. Cancellations after that window may be charged the cost of prescription lenses already ordered, as set out in your quote.

Rescheduling

You can reschedule your appointment without any penalty. We will suggest the next available bench opening within one working day.

Circumstances where we issue a refund

We refund the full payment if we call off the fitting, if we fail to supply the lenses agreed, or if the spectacles do not match your prescription and we cannot correct them in reasonable time.

  • Full cancellation is permitted within twenty-four hours of ordering if the lens blanks have not yet been edged in our workshop.
  • If a lens blank has already been custom cut on our edging wheels, the material cost of the lens cannot be refunded, but labour fees will be waived.
  • Frame repair orders cancelled prior to soldering or screw replacement work incur no charge.
  • Defective lenses that do not match the provided written prescription are remade at our expense or refunded in full.

Requesting a repayment

  1. Telephone our workshop directly during working hours to halt workshop production.
  2. Provide your workshop job sheet number and confirm whether your prescription details changed.
  3. Bring your spectacles back to the counter if work has already been handed over.

Timeline

Approved refunds for cancelled stock orders are returned by bank transfer within five working days.
